O2c2 helps organizations worldwide achieve breakthroughs through creative problem solving and process leadership. Whether breaking silos within multinational corporations, transforming government services, or developing innovative product platforms – our Creative Problem Solving (CPS) methodology delivers consistent results that exceed expectations.
From pharmaceutical companies to police forces, from innovation centers to food multinationals, o2c2 guides organizations through complex change processes in which human cooperation is central. Our process facilitators train change agents who then act as catalysts within their own organizations, bringing about sustainable transformations.
The following client stories show how our approach delivers concrete, measurable results – from manufacturing processes going from 10 months to 1 month, to 23 new product platforms where only 2-3 were expected. Each story illustrates the power of structured collaboration and the impact that results when teams learn to work together effectively on complex challenges.
Impact on business processes
Breakthrough in chemistry-pharma collaboration at multinational company
A leading multinational pharmaceutical company has achieved a significant improvement in efficiency thanks to a successful intervention aimed at improving collaboration between the chemistry and pharmacy departments.
Previously, these departments operated as two separate silos within the organization, leading to delays and inefficiencies. The multinational’s 14-member team participated in an intensive one-day session led by an experienced CPS 6.1 process facilitator.
The session began with a comprehensive intake to identify the specific challenges and bottlenecks between the departments. “The intake was crucial to understanding how the two departments were functioning and what the core issue was the organization’s
The one-day session produced concrete action items that were implemented in the following months. The result is a significant shortening of an important production process. What previously took ten months now takes only one month. This huge time savings means substantial cost savings and faster time-to-market for new products.

Cultural transformation
Community policing for South African police
The South African police faced a major challenge: improving relations with the population. Hostility toward the police led to violent incidents, including shootings with fatalities. To be closer to citizens, the police wanted to move toward community policing.
A team of 18 change agents would pull this project. O2c2 was engaged to guide this transformation.
The intervention consisted of a five-day training in which the change agents were trained as CPS process facilitators. A three-person team from O2c2, assisted by three Belgian police officers (previously trained by O2c2), conducted the training. The Belgian officers shared their experiences with community policing, which provided valuable insights for the South African context.
In preparation, O2c2 formulated the central core question together with the client. During the training, the 18 participants each formulated their own sub-core question, related to their specific challenges. The last two days they worked concretely on substantive solutions.
The result was impressive: the change agents not only learned the CPS skills, but applied them immediately. 18 action plans were developed and immediately put to work. This training was the starting point of a cultural transformation within the South African police, aimed at a more community-oriented approach.

Innovation Managers
UK government boosts innovation power with new centers and customer-focused guidance.
An arm of the British government faced the challenge of establishing a network of innovation centers. For the technical side of the project, such as setting up and choosing the right technology, an international technology partner was brought in. But for the “soft” side, developing the skills to best support customers of these centers, they chose o2c2.
The result of the collaboration with o2c2 was the training of 12 employees as CPS process facilitators. This training gave them the necessary tools and skills to effectively guide clients through innovation processes, thus increasing the clout of the new innovation centers.

Fear of unhealthy future? o2c2 helps U.S. food multinational innovate.
A multinational food company saw dark clouds on the horizon. Their entire product range was based on fried products, while consumers were increasingly focusing on healthy eating. The fear of falling demand for their products was real. The challenge was clear: develop new, healthier product platforms.
For this assignment, they engaged a four-person team from o2c2. For three days they worked intensively with three teams from the multinational company. Brainstorming sessions and creative workshops alternated, all aimed at coming up with innovative and healthier product platforms.
Prior to the sessions, o2c2 probed the success criterion of the intervention. The multinational indicated that they would already be very satisfied with two to three new product platforms. However, the final harvest exceeded all expectations: as many as 23 new product platforms were developed! A result of which both the multinational and o2c2 were immensely proud.
